We really appreciate your feedback about the heavy ceiling base and are definitely taking this into account for our next production run to improve the bracket design. In the meantime, if the canopy isn't sitting fully flush, the crossbar actually has two holes (one on each side) where you can add reinforcement screws directly into the ceiling, which will 100% help it sit completely flush. Alternatively, if you prefer not to add extra screws to your ceiling, you can check the round attachment disc on your electrical box. If it was installed above the bracket, the fixture's weight is pulling down only on the center of the crossbar. Simply moving that ring to attach underneath the bracket will give it the extra support it needs to sit securely and flush.Please let us know if you or your installer have any questions, and enjoy your beautiful new space!
