The product was previously used. All wire connections were frayed like they were previously connected during install. Instruction manuals were missing. And the biggest issue required me to rewire the connectors properly to get it to work. I will never order from you again as this light came being a broken fire hazard. For context I’m a fully licensed electrician and I’ve never seen a new lighting fixture in such poor shape. Anyone else would have immediately returned this as it was broken right out of the box. Also there were giant white stickers on the gold embossed surfaces that ruined the finish when removed.

We take safety and quality very seriously, and we want to clarify a few manufacturing details for you and future customers reading this: - Pre-Stripped Wires: These pendants are hand-assembled, and the wires are intentionally pre-stripped at the factory to make installation easier out of the box. The fixture you received was brand new, not a previous return. -Wago Connectors: The light uses standard, certified Wago connectors. Adjusting the cable length simply requires opening the connector, trimming the wire, and re-inserting the hot and neutral lines. This is a standard, safe design and absolutely not a fire hazard. -cUL Safety Stickers: The stickers on the socket are mandatory cUL wattage safety warnings required by law in both English and French. We completely agree that the adhesive used by the factory is too stubborn, and we are actively sourcing residue-free labels. (For future reference, gently heating the stickers allows them to peel off cleanly). We hope you choose to keep the fixture, that it grows on you, and that you are able to enjoy it for many years! However, if you still feel it isn't a good fit for your space, we highly recommend donating it to a local Habitat for Humanity ReStore so it can find a second life.
