Turn it off and let the bulbs cool first. A dry microfibre cloth handles dust on both the glass and the wood. For marks on the glass, a barely damp cloth and a dry buff, and the ribbing catches dust so a soft brush is useful. Keep water off the wood, and spray the cloth rather than the fixture.

No, it's rated for dry locations only. Wood and damp don't get along, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower or tub and anywhere else exposed to moisture.
