Most pendants light the table and leave the rest of the room dark.
TORONTO doesn't. The five globes sit at different angles across the frame, so light goes down onto the table, up across the ceiling, and out toward the walls at the same time. You get a bright working surface and a room that feels lit, instead of one bright pool floating in a dark space.
Drive into Toronto at night and it is never one tower. It is hundreds of lit panes at every height, none of them aligned, the whole thing doubled in the water below. That is where this came from. The globes sit at different heights because nothing in that skyline sits level, and the glass is grey because grey is the colour of the towers themselves.
The grey does the real work. Clear glass throws hard shadows and a bare filament at you. Grey softens the light on its way out, so what lands on the table is even and warm, and what reaches the ceiling is a wash rather than a hotspot. Lit, you see the glow through the tint before you see the bulb.
Put it on a dimmer or a smart bulb and it does two jobs. Bright, it is task light over a dining table or an island, enough to cook and work under. Turned down, the ceiling and walls carry the glow and the globes read as warm points rather than light sources. Same fixture, two rooms.
Why people choose this fixture:
- Angled globes light the table, the ceiling and the walls at once
- Grey glass diffuses the light so it spreads evenly with no glare
- Bright enough for task light, warm enough for ambient on a dimmer
- Suits a 4 to 5 ft table or a standard kitchen island, from a single ceiling point
- Grey glass on a black frame, drawn from the Toronto skyline
- cUL listed, stocked in Canada, 2-year warranty

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it bright enough to be the main light in the room?
Yes. Five sockets is a lot of light, and because the globes face different directions it lifts the whole room rather than only the surface underneath. Over a dining table or an island it works as your primary light. Put it on a dimmer and the same fixture drops back to ambient in the evening without you needing a second circuit.
Why grey glass instead of clear?
Clear glass leaves the bulb exposed, which means glare and hard shadows on the table. The grey tint diffuses the light on its way out, so it spreads evenly and stays comfortable to sit under. It also changes what you see: the glass glows rather than showing you a bright filament.
What size table or island does it suit?
The fixture is 26.8 inches long and 13 inches deep. Using the usual rule of aiming for the fixture to be between half and two thirds the length of the table, that suits a dining table of about 4 to 5 feet, or a standard kitchen island. Because it is 13 inches deep rather than a thin bar, it carries more presence than its length suggests, so it does not look lost on the larger end of that range. On a table longer than 6 feet it will read as a centred cluster rather than covering the length, which is a legitimate look but worth picturing first.
What are the exact dimensions?
26.77 inches (680 mm) long by 12.99 inches (330 mm) wide, with a maximum drop of 37.01 inches (940 mm) from the ceiling. The drop is adjustable and set during installation.
How high should I hang it above the table?
Around 28 to 34 inches from the tabletop to the bottom of the shade is standard for dining. Lower gives a more intimate, focused feel. Higher spreads the light more broadly, which suits this fixture given how much of its light goes up and outward.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, with an external dimmer switch or dimmable smart bulbs, and it is worth doing on this one. The difference between full brightness and dimmed is the difference between task light and ambient light. There is no integrated dimmer in the fixture, so use whatever system you already have. If you are on a wall dimmer, make sure it is rated for LED loads.
Does it need one ceiling box or several?
One. All five lights run from a single canopy, so there is no extra wiring or additional junction boxes.
What bulbs does it take, and are they included?
Five E26 bulbs, not included. Use LED. For a warm, relaxed feel go 2700K; 3000K if you want it a little crisper over a kitchen. With five sockets, LED keeps the total load low and the glass cool to the touch.
Is it approved for Canadian electrical code?
Yes. cUL listed for both Canada and the US, so it passes inspection and won't cause issues with insurance or a home sale. Made in Poland by TK Lighting.
Do I need an electrician?
It's a hardwired fixture that requires installation. If you're replacing an existing ceiling light on the same box, many people handle it themselves. If you're adding a new box or moving the location, use a licensed electrician.
How do I clean the glass?
Turn it off and let the bulbs cool first. A dry microfibre cloth handles dust. For marks, a barely damp cloth and a dry buff. Don't spray cleaner directly at the fixture, spray the cloth.
Can it go in a bathroom or on a covered porch?
No, it's rated for dry locations only. Keep it out of bathrooms with a shower or tub, and out of anywhere exposed to damp, including covered outdoor areas.
How fast does it ship?

What is the warranty?
